An interactive demo allowing you to simultaneously do dynamic range adjustment and image sharpening to an image.

Author(s): Phil Keslin

Quick Start:

This demo, which is based on the Image Vison Library, shows what the defense and intelligence community calls the ELECTRONIC LIGHT TABLE or ELT. The demo actually implements a government spec called IDEX. The idea is to roam around smoothly at 60 hertz while you geometrically correct the image, do dynamic range adjustment (brightness, contrast, haze, etc.) and image sharpening all at the same time. The data is tiled and is pulled off of disk as different parts of the image come into view. So, other than the size of the hard disk there is no limitation on the size of the image you are viewing. This demo can also be run in stereo. See the Readme for instructions on how to bring up the demo in stereo mode. You'll of course need stereo viewing hardware.
